GodfatherOfSeoul Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Would anyone know of anyone that can restore an old jon boat. Ive googled it for my area (South Atlanta) and Ive really only been able to find someone about 4 hours away in Valdosta, Ga. Doesnt necessarily have to be a shop but anyone in general that help be get this boat in shape to catch some bass. Right now, I notice a small in a couple places. Even after 5 hours of fishing (which is mostly what I do), there less than a gallon worth of water thats come on my jon boat from somewhere on the back and the transom. I am noticing a little cracking where you put the plug now too so now I just want to get it in shape for some fishing before anything gets worse and I find out on the water. James.Brown1758@gmail.com is the email if you have a contact that I would definitely appreciate. I even consider decking it and make a bass boat transition if it isnt super costly. Thanks again, God bless! Quote

GodfatherOfSeoul Posted October 24, 2014 Author Posted October 24, 2014 Thanks! I knew I would find the answer here. Thank you! Quote
Super User Fishing Rhino Posted October 24, 2014 Super User Posted October 24, 2014 It's not cheap, but it's great stuff. My dad used it many years ago to stop some small leaks in the roof of a travel trailer. He just coated all the seams. No more leaks. Surface preparation is key. Follow the instructions that come with it, and you'll be fine. Quote
