> The MVP is a "triphibious" airplane, meaning it can land on earth, snow or water depending on gear. Certified as a Light Sport (S-LSA) airplane, it will cost about $189,00 when it finally hits the market in about 5 years.

> With a retractible instrument panel and canopy, the nose of the airplane opens wideto resemble a bass boat. The plane can be outfitted with a pedestal seat in the front for fishing or other boating activities.
I would use it for swooping in to fish Bill Dance's or Ray Scott's magic bass ponds....

I can see it now, you hook into a feisty smallmouth, he zips to the side & jumps over the wing of your new "boat", then goes back under for good measure.  Think of the stories Grits Gresham (R.I.P.) would have concocted fishing from that vessel...

I've seen a great photo of Jimmy Buffet standing on the wing of his flying boat, fly fishing.  It inspired me to buy a lottery ticket every once in a while.

But man...  $189K would buy a lot of Senkos!

Tight lines,

Bob

Under the wings, like missiles.
