Super User gardnerjigman Posted October 29, 2014 Author Super User Posted October 29, 2014 I hope your team wins today. This will make tomorrow's game a nail biter! Win tonight would out us against bumgarner again tomorrow, in our house and the ability to DH Quote
Super User Hi Salenity Posted October 29, 2014 Super User Posted October 29, 2014 I hope they have one more shutout left in them for tonight! Be Royal!!! Quote
Super User aavery2 Posted October 29, 2014 Super User Posted October 29, 2014 I think that SF will start Hudson, but if anything starts happening for KC I am sure that they will march Bumgarner out to the mound. KC will have more of an opportunity against him working on short rest but I am sure he will still be very tough. Got to score some runs on Hudson early. Go Royals !!!!! Quote
Super User gardnerjigman Posted October 29, 2014 Author Super User Posted October 29, 2014 Very pumped for tonight. Have the momentum we need! I'm betting Hudson won't be on the mound long so, yes, we need to strike early. Our bullpen is fully rested so should be pretty dominate. Big night in KC! Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted October 30, 2014 Super User Posted October 30, 2014 Shot their wad last night. 10 runs unanswered is never good. Quote
Super User gardnerjigman Posted October 30, 2014 Author Super User Posted October 30, 2014 We blew it. Congrats Giants. Quote
Super User F14A-B Posted October 30, 2014 Super User Posted October 30, 2014 Can you say Madison Bumgarner? Great World Series ! Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted October 30, 2014 Super User Posted October 30, 2014 The Royals put up an impressive fight and took it all the way to 7. Great season! Quote
xxmurrxx Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Good run by KC Bumgarner was too beast in this series Quote
Super User gardnerjigman Posted October 30, 2014 Author Super User Posted October 30, 2014 We will be back next year! Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted October 30, 2014 Super User Posted October 30, 2014 I enjoyed the Series very much. I am mostly a hometown (Cardinals) fan, but anyone who loves the game had to appreciate both of these teams. They played with passion and really seemed to enjoy the moment. I was hoping KC would win it, only because it has been a long time coming for them. The big lefty put on quite a show though, and SF earned the win. Congratulations to both teams. They represented baseball at its best. 1 Quote

Super User Redlinerobert Posted October 30, 2014 Super User Posted October 30, 2014 KC played VERY well. That game could have easily gone either way. A nail biter to the end. Quote
Super User aavery2 Posted October 30, 2014 Super User Posted October 30, 2014 Great series, congrats to the Giants, they played and pitched well. I am curious if Shields will remain in KC or try his luck elsewhere. I don't feel he did his self any favors in terms of a big new contract with someone else based on his postseason performance. May be in his best interest to stay in KC. Quote
