FunkJishing Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 So far all of my bites this fall have been from bomber crankbaits and green pumpkin tru-tungsten worms. what have you had luck with this fall? I hear spinnerbaits are a good choice too, i havent had any luck with mine yet. Quote
ChrisWi Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 3/8 ounce strike king finesse spinnerbait has been my best reaction bait, and these home made finesse jigs I make have been doing great. 1 Quote

Chris S Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Ned Rig with a Zman senko type in PB&J or Jerkbait has been the ticket out this way. 1 Quote
Mainebass1984 Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 So far it has been a 1/2 oz jig with a rage craw trailer and a KVD 1.5 crankbait. Next week I am on vacation in Maine. I plan on fishing almost everyday from Oct 17th - Oct 27th. I will have more info next week. I am assuming the 1/2 oz jig will still be working and that I will be catching some big fish on a KVD 2.5. dosam Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Yesterday was a good and surprising day for me. I bought a hula popper black the other day and never in my life used a popper before so I didnt really know how to work the bait properly but, on my first cast popped for 30 seconds and I caught one of the few largemouths roaming my lake . My go to favorite lure that always works for me is my helsinki shad rippin rap crank. Fish line up to get hooked on that thing. Quote
