This might apply to all or some of us, but do you have any rare or one of a kind lures and are still using today?or did you have a rare or one of a kind lure and used it fishing and didn't know it was rare and lost it ? some of these rare or one of a kind lures are no longer made and can't be replaced ever .

I've got three or four old Creek Chub injured minnows, I don't know if they are that rare and I know they aren't one of a kind but they are pretty neat lures!

Lots of big swimbaits. Who really knows how "rare" they actually are though. There is tons of them all out there it is just that once people have them they usually don't part with it. There is not enough supply to equal the demand on some baits.

Yes, zara pooch. I had a few from who knows where and realized they work really well in my fishing holes. What i didnt realize is that they dont make them anymore...and i didnt realize this until i had lost all but one!! Now im scrambling to find a replacement and im terrified to throw my last one for fear of losing it. I know its not a super rare or collectable lure but mentally its hard for me to let this one go.

And that swimming turd, awesome. I want one for my rearview mirror! Any doubts or questions about what a particular bait mimics have been wiped from my mind (pun intended) its apparent that a bass will bite anything that it thinks is food!

I have about 50 lures that were home made over 40+ years and about 50 more that's just 40+ years I don't fish with them because I'm afraid to loose them
