Super User deaknh03 Posted October 9, 2014 Super User Posted October 9, 2014 Grocery's? I can't afford grocery's. I got a Girlfriend, a soon to be ex wife, two mistresses, and 8 kids to support. I don't get groceries. I don't even get to eat anymore. I get the table scraps the 3 dogs reject. keep posting about your two mistresses and it will be an ex wife and ex gf...hopefully you can afford a refridgerator box that you can live in at the jobsite. Super User FishTank Posted October 9, 2014 Super User Posted October 9, 2014 15years ago I would do 10-15 miles a week. Then I got into powerlifting and now my knees can't take it. I still love to hike and walk though. I do miss the running and lifting. Quote
Super User Sam Posted October 11, 2014 Super User Posted October 11, 2014 Once upon a time I used to run but then my right knee started to hurt and after a few minor surgeries I had a knee replacement. Knee feels great now but no more running. Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted October 11, 2014 Super User Posted October 11, 2014 I was a runner back in the day. After 3 surgeries and a partial replacement of my left knee, running is no longer an option. After a couple of years of losing weight and getting in shape I am now "fast" walking. I have reached the point where I can keep my heart rate up and find a cadence that allows me to get much the same workout as I used to get, without all the pounding on my joints that comes with running. FWIW speed is no longer a real concern. A 14 minute mile works as good as an 8 minute back in the day. Of course I am much older now! Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted October 11, 2014 Super User Posted October 11, 2014 I made a run towards the Buffet when Raiders sister showed up. I wanted to get at least one last plate before she cleaned house. Quote
Super User Lund Explorer Posted October 12, 2014 Super User Posted October 12, 2014 I'm on the cross country team but I'm not as fast as I could be, When wrestling and stuff comes around I tune down the running and get slower every year... I'm not trying to be the next Kenenisa Bekele but running is for sure one of my favorite past times. I'm a Senior this year and when I graduate ill get more "serious" about running most likely. Dwight, Marathons are a great accomplishment... people don't realize how hard running can be on your body, I've ran a few half marathons and they are tough, I just stick to 5k races for the most part with a few obstacle 5k's thrown in. Running a marathon is one thing I really want to accomplish! Sounds like you found a really cute girl to run behind! 1 Quote
