Siebert Outdoors Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Thanks for drawing the names Whittler Quote
harshman Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Thanks for the work that went into the swap guys. I have been looking forward to this for weeks. I can't wait to hear from Munkin. Is everybody gonna post what they get? I think that would be a great idea to promote our fellow tackle junkies. Harshman Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 I think that would be cool if everyone posted what they got. Quote
SwampMan Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Maybe we could post pictures of what we are sending out? Or receiving. Quote
Fishin49er Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 I want to thank you guys, GMAN and whittler, for coordinating this. I think it will be a big hit and a lot of fun. Posting pictures of what we recieve is a great idea. Quote
Daren Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 This is what I am sending WCCT when he gets me his address. I just made it yesterday. It is curly maple that I dyed. I could not get a decent picture of it, in person it looks really cool. That is just the way curly maple is, there is a whole world of grain that a picture cannot capture. The figured grain looks totally different from any angle, like 3D. Quote
SwampMan Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 I'm sure anyone would be pleased with that nice lookin lure! Great Job! Quote
Triton21 Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Fishin49er and Bassmachine will be recieving the following lures from me in the swap. 1, 1/2 oz Buzzbait, 1 Marabou Spinn, 1, 1/16 oz jig, 1, 1/8 oz jig, 1, 3/8 oz jig, all weedless ball head with Owner hooks. 1, 1/4 oz weedless football jig with Owner hook. These are the same lures I made and sold under the name TOP SHELF LURES in the '90s untill 2002 to pay my tournament expences. The Marabou Spinn was named in a Smallmouth tail spinner article in the Feb. 2000 BASS Magazine. The Buzzbait was revolutionary in the mid '90s when I developed it. The hook moves like the "Leverage Buzzbait" but it is attached derectly to the wire instead of being on a cable. I had it in bait stores 3 years before the "Leverage" came on the market. Hpoefully I have attached pictures to this poat. It is my first trying to attach a picture. Kelley Quote
Triton21 Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Each of you will recieve 1 row of lures. Quote
ominousone Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 is this thing going to continue? Are we only doing one round? I know that dink and I have already sent our items and are eagerly awaiting them from our postoffices. After that I know that it's going to be like christmas is over, I'd like another round or to even trade with all parties that have been on here. So is there going to be round 2? 3? more? Thanks and I'll be looking forward to hearing everyone's experiences -Mat Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Chris, was a tough one. Chris makes it all. I mailed him out a bunch of hand made jigs the other day. He might even get them today. I shipped him my favorite colors, along with some shakey heads that I made up too. Hope he likes them and wins some tourneys off them. Quote
Triton21 Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 Got 2 beautiful spinnerbaits and 2 super nice jigs from BASSMACHINE today. I hope he is as well satisfied with the swap as I am. He should have got his from me today or no later than tomorrow. Kelley Quote
Guest whittler Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 Received 3 chatterbaits, well these baits are way above the standard chatterbaits in strength of design, hook and overall finish, these are made like they should be. Thanks Mike great looking baits. Thats mikesluckylures. John Quote
BASSMACHINE Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 Received my lures from triton21 and they are sweet! The owner hooks that he used on those jigs are perfect! And the one jig must be 1/16oz I will be busting the bass on that in the local pond, and the buzzbait has a free swinging hook design. That is pretty cool wish I would have thought of that myself! I am very statisfied! It is nice to see how many members are making there own! Here is a Pic of what he sent me. They are nice! 8-) :-* ;D 8-) :-* ;D 8-) :-* ;D 8-) :-* ;D Quote
