My start at tying

Here's my first couple of attempts at tying my own

skirts. I used round rubber, nylon thread and chenille.

My tools were a cheap vice and a bobbin. Decided

not to use any glue on the wrap.

Pouring is my next step but I wanted to take

things one step at a time. These heads are Eakin's.

So what do you folks think? Any suggestions?

Look great Craw.  I like the chenille touch.

Try that now with a mix of bucktail and marabou  (also, 2 long pieces of peacock hurl in the mix, look just like antenae)

Wish my tied skirts look like that.  After about 10 I gave up.  Great tie.  

Warning,  Pouring and jig making is addicting.
