Matt, I fish the i-shad typically when I am casting a drop shot rig. Usually I drag it but still give the rod a few twitches which causes the bait to dart a bit. It really is a do nothing style of bait that utilizes jackalls i-motion technology. Honestly it will get bit in so many types of scenarios it just down right stupid good. Plus the bait is fairly dense allowing respectable casting distance.

Jackall Crosstail Shad has been far and away my best producer.

Really ? I've had no sucess with them or the jackall clone fry

What baits do you like best for drop shotting? I have had luck with a Missile Baits Fuse and a Zoom Finesse worm, but want to try some more, give me you suggestions.

the fuse craw in green pumpkin purple for sure is the bizness but the newest drop shot bait that has just as much lunker catching ability is the

Reins Co "bubbling shaker" in the morning dawn color.  (I got a sample of it at iCast 2014, killed it with massive fish) in the 5" or 4"

- roboworm hologram shad, Aaron's pro magic, oxblood, green weenie, or any roboworm that has a white strip on the bottom 6" or 4"

- the jackall flick shake wacky rigged

I saw a Pro at iCast 2014 who came up with the idea of using a treble hook and 3 baits for a drop shot hook .   ive tried it with no success yet

I've done very well with them both nose hooked on a dropshot rig and rigged on a light jighead. Just keep throwing them, you will get bit ;)

Straight tail worms...Robos, Dreamshots, and custom hand pours account for most of the my DS fish.

Bento minnows, dace color.

3" Erie darters ... watermelon magic

Craws and creatures work too

I've been throwing robos, zoom trick worms and finesse worms, and so far only the robo has been productive for me, so they get my vote!
