I have designated our garage as my fishing room. However I have some other bass decor around the house like my magazine racks of bass mags, some figurines from Disney Fishing, and other stuff. We need a picture above our 55gal aquarium. Wife wants some beach pic. I've seen some nice ones at BPS. ;-)

I had two pieces of bass decor, my first 10 lber mount and a replica of my 13.86 lbs PB, it's been ages since I saw them for the last time, the ball and chain had: 1 ) stored them in "their place" whatever the hell that means or where it is or the more frightening 2 ) trashed them.

My entire house is decorated in a Northwoods outdoor theme including a smallmouth replica, a hand carved wooded smallmouth, and 4 Al Agnew smallmouth prints. There are also a variety of ducks, geese, eagles, loons, other birds, moose, deer and bears. All of this is with my wife's support and approval. She likes it all as much as I do.

My place is littered with bass pics, figurines, and a few mounts. Abit of huntin stuff aswell, deer hide on the couch. My girlfriend was raised this way, so that helps. She loves to look for decor aswell.

Yes!

Over my desk are a few things I display as decor or art. Some wood carvings I did years ago representing some local places and fish I obsessively pursued back then. One is of a fat 15inch largemouth. The other is a 14" brown trout, a 10" male brookie, and an 18" northern pike (representing a small swampy stream I fished that was full of aggressive little pike. If I still lived there, I'd still be adventuring in that beautiful gem of a jungle so close to so many people. And I'd probably still be all alone doing it.

Also over my desk is an illustration of a hanging brace of bass I picked up from the basement at a dusty household sale years ago. When I took it home and opened the frame to clean it I discovered that it was an original pastel. And it's nicely done. Not signed however. Once I cleaned the glass the wonderful colors showed beautifully. Which makes me think, it's probably time to clean it again.

Hooked from the top of the frame of that brace of bass are three lures: One is a large cork popper that has no significance and probably should be replaced with a bass bug I made that has history -I know just the one :) ). Next to it is a dragonfly my then 4 year old son made. Next is a frog-colored Jitterbug from the 40's that was used by my grandfather, handed down to my father (the very first bass I ever saw -I was five- came on this very lure), was then handed down to me, and will be handed down to my son. Yes, we still use it on occasion. That's what it was meant for.

Lastly, I have a flat lake-shore rock my father (a career illustrator) painted a bass on -a largemouth leaping clear and down onto a frog colored Jitterbug. On the back is painted a "Merry Christmas to Paul from Dad 1972"

You've been a busy man, Wayne.

I have rods, lures, or line laying all around the house. Does that count?

I have a mount of what used to be my personal best, a 7.5 largemouth I caught out of a local pond.  I have a dozen fishing themed plates that my mother made at her ceramics class before she passed.  There are a dozen or so fishing/outdoor themed water colors I've acquired over the years.  I still have a working Billy Bass in my living room.

I have my lure building room with my table covered with all my bladed jig/jig building supplies. Above it are 3 plaque mounted deer racks and a shelf with various antique fishing lures, a Oakley Big Bass hat signed by KVD, and my Robin Hooded arrow from a few years back. To the right is my wall of tournament plaques, 4 from the bass club I used to fish in and 1 from a BASS Weekend Series tournament. Across from that table is my only skin mount (or any fish mount for that matter) of a 6.5lb bass that used to be my PB that died after a long fight and deeply eaten crankbait while I was crappie fishing. There's several award certificates from the bass club I used to fish in and a couple fishing signs also. Across from that is an old boat prop with a "Life's better at the lake", sign and they're surrounded by a bunch of blown up pictures of some of the big flatheads I used to spend so much time pursuing. To get there you have to go through the door with my "Through these doors pass the world's greatest fishermen" sign :) So yeah, I have some fishing decor  :eyebrows:

Trophy wall above the fireplace which has skin mounts, big bass awards and family fishing pics.

My mother decorated the second floor of my folks summer home with a fishing theme including a skin mount I got of my dads biggest bass. My ol; lady liked the idea and decorated a bedroom at the home in WI with a Northwoods feel.

Just a couple of bass mounts on the wall, and a million old bass magazines taking up space all over the place.  Is there a market for old bass magazines?

I have a fishing room and a hunting room.(entire full basement). Tried real hard to keep the decor seperate.  Don't know why but it worked out that way.  Fishing room has 10' of peg board filled with lures.  A desk to work on rods/reels or lures.  Four bass mounts and two Crappie mounts.  Numerous poster size pic of catches and buddys from fishing trips.  Hunting room has 50" flat screen, 8 deer heads, 4 skull mounts, racoon, turkey, 2 ducks, furs from several animals, Jackalope, and several homemade barn wood frames.  Oh and I built a barnwood and old tin bar.  The ceiling is all 100 year old tin also.  One wall has a full mural of deer walking around a lake. I framed it in barnwood to make it look like an 8'X15' picture.  I am working on the fishing room ceiling now.  I am using green tin to make it look like a cabin roof.  All the walls are fake barnwood panels that were made for outdoor sheds or buildings.  It is the perfect get away..  Wish I could spend more time in there....  Up stairs not one single fishing/hunting thing.  Nothing..

Nothing other than fishing poles & tackle. I am collecting a bunch of fishing company stickers for my table in my eventual man cave that will display my monster bluegill (waiting on my replica to be complete) and my other double digit bass (when I catch them) will be on display as well.

Saw a few really cool bass mail boxes, my girl would never let me get one lol

Those things were funny, until somebody pressed the button that is ;)

I now have "Take Me To The River" and "Don't Worry Be Happy" stuck in my head.
