With all the tackle we have, is the tackle box you have missing anything you don't have or still need to get? lures that is, or what you have sufficient ? and if not what would it be?to make it complete.

Strike King, Rapala, Zoom and all the others are counting on the fact that nearly everyone in this forum will immediately say 'never'.

So true...It seems that every week there is a new "must have" that pops up. I am currently

in the market for the 6th Sense 75X, a recommendation from A-Jay!

I use maybe 5% of my box, and my wish list for more lures is not all that big but they are the expensive one's that I "Need" and since fall is coming it is time to place a TW order for some suspending Jerkbaits and I wish I never heard of Ima....I have only used the Skimmer and Flit but man are they good lures that really do put extra fish in the boat compared to the standard go to lures alot of the time....I thought the Bomber Pro A, Smithwick Rogue, Pointers and Xraps were good enough for suspending jerkbaits, but it seems it is not so.....

I need

Jackall Siera Minnow

Boil Trigger

OSP Bent Minnow

Flit 120's, Roumba, more Skimmer colors, and more academy square bills and slush puppies......and I need to find a place to find some good deals on Tungsten from 3/4oz-1.5 oz.....I hate buying tungsten but terminal tackle is everything....and more colors of the Swizzle Stik from Bass Pro...Just tried it 2 days ago and I love it..Senko with a curly tail, kiind of like the Cut'r or swim senko but looks and feels different and casts a mile. and of course, cutsom Jig order for winter....

I seem to lose lures faster than I can buy them. I wish I had more tackle, I know that if i get on a good pattern there is a chance I will run out of the plastics or not have a similar lure if i lose the one that is working.

I'm thinking about buying used off the flea market just to stock up a box of jigs and a box of crank baits.

I must be getting OLD (and stuck in my ways).  Half the lures I hear about, I've never heard of before.  But I need them too!!!!!

I keep a "shopping" list going for whatever lures/baits I need or am running low on. It gets updated daily. A few things that I can never have enough of are Culprit ribbon-tails, Rage Craws and EWG hooks.

I do this too.  And then the Bait Monkey (who is always looking at the list over my shoulder) says "You know, you really need to buy some......"

Getting a little low, haven't bought a thing for bass fishing other than flukes and hooks in a long time.  I fish light and don't use many different things, 1 rod and pack of flukes or 2-4 lures in xrap box and I'm good to go.

Its hard for me to say that my tackle box is complete. Not because I think I need to add X lure or Y bait. But becaus I'd love to have about 20 more of my favorite baits.

I came to a realization a few years back that I was never going to learn how to be proficient at every lure that is marketed. I simply don't have the extra money and time on the water. So I have focused my efforts away from learning everything to becoming as good as I can be with just a few baits.

So is my tackle box complete Not even close but it has all the baits that I need in it. I just need more of them.

Its less about my fishing box being incomplete, but rather my fishing repertoire.  The more I learn the more tackle I will collect, however as my techniques are fine-tuned I will be able to pare down to stuff that I need to be effective, and eliminate some of the clutter.

I have been really working in jigging lately so I am starting to buy up a bunch of that stuff, and as I find what works I will either retire or sell of the stuff that doesn't work for me or the lakes that I fish.

I am sure that in the end I will end up with a trunk full of stuff and use 2% of it.

Never can have a complete box, unless you have everything in every color available and multiples of the most productive ones... I have my select few confidence baits and colors, but I am always looking for my next confidence baits as they typically out produce the previous ones... plus it is just fun to organize and reorganize them in the off season...

I want to get some spinbaits/spybaits.  Other than that i am pretty good on what I have.  I have multiples of my go to baits and several in other colors.  Got on a jerkbait kick this year and I think I have the right ones and the right amount now.  Bought alot off forums.  Some really good deals out there.
