I usually just put everything into ziploc bags to keep them fresh, and a bag for the ones I have used and don't want to mix.  It keeps the from bleeding into the plastic of your boxes, and or melting...  It's like an insulator...

You can put them in "hot" water for a while and then lay them down straight to cool off and they will even back out.

I found that the best cure for this and soft baits bleeding into one another is to keep them in the package they came in so you'll know what to buy when they need replacing and a really big lunch cooler bag, They are insulated so the baits don't get hot and out of shape, and if you get the bag wet it cleans up easy.

I store a couple of sluggos and sluggo ss's bent intentionally, sometimes they'll work when a regular sluggo or jerkbait won't.  Might work on other worm types too.
