rchiuz Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Hi all! Question, are Keitech Fat Impacts still viable when the sun starts to set? I noticed that I haven't got it hit using those when its almost dark. Just wondering if this part looses out during that time. Thanks in advance! Quote
IAY Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Use darker color and larger 5.8 inch size. It has good water displacement due to the ribbed structure and wide swinging tail, so it should be pretty effective. Quote
einscodek Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 I would tend to think Impact Fats would be more effective when the bass could actually see their awesome action If they cant, it negates one of their best attributes for usage. I got better baits for water displacement.. Quote
OK Bass Hunter Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 The visual is good but the displacement and that rhythmic thumping of that tail going back and forth also call the bass in. I use any time of day. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted September 15, 2014 Global Moderator Posted September 15, 2014 They will work at night even. We caught some nice smallies on them in the dark at Bull Shoals last year. Quote
