Mostly throw weightless Senko, 1/16 -1/8 oz jig, worm etc., have 2500 & 3000 series reels, what line & # size & combos do u like? Straight Braid or fluro, half & half, Braid w/ what size leader.

I was using straight fluro seaguar invizx 8# & switched to braid 30# 832 w/ 12# invizx , don't think I like this, not feeling a lt of strikes, seems like more slack in the braid. I was thinking of making the longest cast that I can & stripping off a few more feet & spooling that back up with the invizx so not to wait spooling the whole reel with fluro, what are your taughts???

I would go back to the 8lb Invizx, those methods of fishing have a lot of slack line which straight flouro will be a LOT more sensitive. Braid is extremely sensitive when its tight but its not a dense line so it does not transmit bites well when slack.

For spinning reels, stick with 10-20 pound braid. I like 15. Then use a 10 or so lb fluoro leader. 30 lb braid is way too thick for spinning reels IMO, and 20 is pushing it as well but doable.

How is 20# pushing it? That is the same size as 6# mono. I use 20 or 30 on spinning and 10 on UL.

I would also maybe look into a good co poly line. Yo-Zuri, Izorline, P-Line

I would, too! Yo-Zuri Hybrid #6 has a breaking strength of 11.9 pounds.

Great minds think alike.

If its not braid on my reels it's a copoly. They can do anything and are the best lines with regards to.... Well everything.
