Siebert Outdoors Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 I've tried to dip tubes already with little sucess. Actually pretty much none. But I want to give it another shot. I need an idea of a container that I can make a tube about 6" long and the container needs to be thin on the sides so I dont waste a ton of plastic. Any ideas? the only one I can think of is a regular house glass but I dont think it will hold up to the heat. Also is it easier to dip tubes vertically or horizontally? Quote
Super User Alpster Posted January 30, 2007 Super User Posted January 30, 2007 Try a "Pyrex" measuring cup, They will stand up to very high temps. Just a thought, I know nothing about dipping tubes. Ronnie Quote
pipho Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 I use a pop can with the top cut off, I just heat the plastic in my pyrex cup and then I pour it into the sut off pop can. You could also get a Monster Energy XXL and cut the top off. Quote
