Got my B-Day gift on the water today. A beautiful pre-Autumn day here in Cincy.

Had a great day and the core oerformed beautifully. Two fish below were the biggest

of five total. Caught them on a 7 1/2" Junebug Culprit.

Sweet fish Hootie, I see you used the lures with hooks on them this time... :eyebrows: ...J/K Bud!

How'd ya like the Core? I see the fish probably didn't like it much tho.

Hard to believe how light a combo can be. Paired with the GLX, I can fish this rig all day.

Do you always photograph your bait? :)

Just kidding of course... Couple of great catches there, I'd happily take a day 5-6 of those. Looks like a great way to break in an awesome new reel.

Think I might need to take a day off to get out on the water now...

Very nice.  The Core is just one those special reels that does not excel at one particular thing.  It just does everything you ask of it better than most other reels.

I hope I am as lucky as you and my wife treats me one day.  I would love to have another Core.

Want to know how my wife would have known to get me a core? She doesn't know a core from a BPS tourney special. She got on a site she knows I frequent. They happen to have a

"wish list". She clicked on my wish list, and there it was. Click, add to cart, click purchase...voila.
