kikstand454 Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Do the jigs fall out if you turn the box on its side or what have you ? I know spinnerbaits are held in by the wire forcing them down. I have to store my boxes on end. ... will this still hold? Quote

I'm like you I have to store boxes on the side. The slots are small enough to hold 1/4oz - 1oz jigs in place (sizes I have. BUT not too tight to mess up the collars on break strands. I slid them in holding the skirt at the bottom in the slot right between the head and collar Quote

And even with smaller finesse jigs you can turn to the side a bit so the weed guard catches the slots Quote
kikstand454 Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Ahhhhh.....yeah! Gotcha! I didn't even think about the weed guards. Perfect. I will have to do this then. My current jig system is a mess. I can just do jigs and spinnerbaits, chatterbaits etc in the one box. Thanks! Quote

Thanks! thanks to this post, i picked up the spinnerbait box too, you won't regret it. i fish from the yak and have some plano stowed behind in a crate, forcing me to store them sideways. this thing works like a charm, sideways, upside down, backwards, doesn't matter they all stay in place. big thanks to doyle for sure, that picture went a long ways!! 2 Quote

If you have to bend the plastic to get it into a notch, the weed guard won't return, easily to original the original state. Just FYI..something I haven't learned the hard way but can see how this could be a problem 1 Quote
