Super User deaknh03 Posted February 2, 2015 Super User Posted February 2, 2015 The lack of humility in that comment for a game that was given to the Patriots is interesting. EVERY Patriot fan literally crapped their pants after that bobbled reception at the 5 yard. You all had reruns of 2007 running through your head, a nightmare that wouldn't go away. The entire New England area had the same look that was on Brady's face. That ugly, sinking feeling in your gut was quickly turning into an ulcer until one of the dumbest play calls ever snatched defeat from the jaws of victory for Seattle. Any Patriots fan with an ounce of conscience & common sense would take the win & not offer any comments that could even be construed as trash talking or bragging. Too bad the win will be vacated when the results of the most recent cheating scandal are brought to light... wow..you take friendly trash talking over a GAME and bring your bigotry and spitefullness into it.You truly need to look inside yourself and figure out where the hatred comes from. 2
Super User deaknh03 Posted February 2, 2015 Super User Posted February 2, 2015 Lol not a chance. As for everything else you wrote above that, don't forget that Seattle needed a miracle to even be in the Superbowl, and yet another miracle to get into scoring position on that final drive. They simply ran out of miracles. Reminds me a lot of the Auburn Tigers from two years ago... And as far as cheating scandals....it is fairly obvious that the whole Seattle team is built on PEDs. The 12th man better hope that last year's title doesn't get vacated. not to mention that ONE nfl team was penalized this year for breaking the rules...Seattle anyone? 1
RSM789 Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 You are correct, it is difficult to point out that a team would have won if a certain play hadn't been made. However, it is easy to point out a particular play that ends up costing a team a chance to win. Kind of like the first day of a bass tournament. Rarely can you win it on day 1, but you certainly can lose it.
Super User deaknh03 Posted February 2, 2015 Super User Posted February 2, 2015 I hear you man, I think it is wrong to bring up "this team should have won-" kind of statements, because there are too many "what-if" type scenarios to consider. But people are going to find something to complain about no matter the outcome. every close game has a what if...
Super User deaknh03 Posted February 2, 2015 Super User Posted February 2, 2015 Tell that to Lynn Swan or John Stallworth. Great players make great athletic plays in big games. Stallworth...Swann...Kearse??doesnt sound right
RSM789 Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 wow..you take friendly trash talking over a GAME and bring your bigotry and spitefullness into it.You truly need to look inside yourself and figure out where the hatred comes from. Bigotry? Spitefulness? Hatred? Now who isn't acting so friendly?? Your comments are prime evidence of why so many people dislike Boston area teams & their fans. It has nothing to do with a teams success, it is how you carry yourself in both winning & losing. After all, the Oakland Raiders haven't won anything in over a decade and they are still universally disliked. Take your win in stride knowing how close to suicidal you could have been today...
RSM789 Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Stallworth...Swann...Kearse??doesnt sound right Don't judge the Thanksgiving meal before the turkey is done cooking.
Super User deaknh03 Posted February 2, 2015 Super User Posted February 2, 2015 Don't judge the Thanksgiving meal before the turkey is done cooking. thats a nice analogy but those are 2 of the best ever..kearse is decent but that turkey has a lot of cooking left..
RSM789 Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Every teams fans trash talk..Seattle actually more than most, but whatever..Im guessing your first boyfriend that dumped you was from Boston. A little homophobic huh? Guess again, I never dated boys, apparently that must be a New Hampshire thing. Let me put it into fishing terms to keep it in line with our host website. Patriot fan pulls up to the final day Bass Master Classic weigh-in and takes the lead with one angler to go. As that last angler comes on stage, he mentions that he caught a 5lb. bass with 2 minutes left to go. As the last angler places his sack on the scale, he drops one of the bass out of the bag & kills it. The 4 oz. dead fish penalty gives the New England fan the tournament win by 2 oz. Now does anyone in their right mind believe the Patriot fan should be jumping around the stage celebrating or should he be oh-so-thankful that the other persons stupidity let him take the win? 1
RSM789 Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 thats a nice analogy but those are 2 of the best ever..kearse is decent but that turkey has a lot of cooking left.. The man made a great athletic catch on of the biggest stages in the world, something Wes Welker couldn't do. Give him a little credit. 1

Its just a game to me..no reason to be suicidal..my comments were based on your entire body of comments. You have a healthy hatred for northeastern people, you have made that more than evident..Im not talking about trash talking, thats done in fun..you have hatred. I enjoy trash talking with other forum members and they hate my team(s) and we go back and forth, but you are one angry dude.
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted February 2, 2015 BassResource.com Administrator Posted February 2, 2015 It's unfortunate Patriot fans can't win with class and grace. Game over. Moving on.... 1
