Super User deaknh03 Posted February 2, 2015 Super User Posted February 2, 2015 Someone needs to check the tape, I definitely heard the air go out of something with about 30 sec left. that was just in your living room.. 2
Fisher-O-men Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Crazy game. At least Baldwin and Sherman will shut up now.....I hope. Way too much to ask! Carrol will not sleep well for several nights!
Super User Long Mike Posted February 2, 2015 Super User Posted February 2, 2015 From the immaculate reception to a dumb-call interception, all within thirty seconds. A classic case of "How to grab defeat from the jaws of victory." 2
Super User Felix77 Posted February 2, 2015 Super User Posted February 2, 2015 Somehow Marshawn is going to be fined for that loss.
Super User aavery2 Posted February 2, 2015 Super User Posted February 2, 2015 that was just in your living room.. No sounded more like the air completely leaving the sails of Seattle

shanksmare Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 I guess the Patriots just took the air out of the Seattle Seahawks. You now know why the Patriots fired Pete Carroll (of course he would have been touted as a genius if the pass play had worked). Looking forward to next year. Go Pats!
Super User Lund Explorer Posted February 2, 2015 Super User Posted February 2, 2015 So when is the game? I fell asleep four hours into the pre-game show! 1
Super User Jar11591 Posted February 2, 2015 Super User Posted February 2, 2015 I think the Patriot's real MVP is Pete Carroll. He won the game for them with his brilliant play calling. Im not even into football and I know that was a terrible play call. I didn't even consider a pass play, and I'm the one at home on my couch. Maybe the Seahawks should hire me as head coach. All I'm saying is if I was coach for that one set of downs, the Seahawks would have won.
Super User Catch and Grease Posted February 2, 2015 Super User Posted February 2, 2015 I didn't even get to watch the game...
Super User roadwarrior Posted February 2, 2015 Author Super User Posted February 2, 2015 One of the best Super Bowl games ever. Both teams were dynamic, but someone had to win. Obviously the game could have gone either way. Tremendous competitors with the stats to back it up. Congratulations Patriot fans! And for Seahawk fans, the future is VERY bright! I expect Seattle to be in thick of things for the foreseeable future. 1
Super User HoosierHawgs Posted February 2, 2015 Super User Posted February 2, 2015 How about that catch Seattle made? Geez, that was magic... Great Super Bowl !I thought the Hawks would win like the Giants with the helmet catch.. I guess the Patriots aren't that unlucky.
craww Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Someone needs to check the tape, I definitely heard the air go out of something with about 30 sec left. I think it had dreadlocks and a hawks uniform on lol.
Super User SirSnookalot Posted February 2, 2015 Super User Posted February 2, 2015 The only reason it was a bad call is it failed, had it been a reception Carroll would have been a hero. Give credit to the defensive play. 5
Super User Darren. Posted February 2, 2015 Super User Posted February 2, 2015 The only reason it was a bad call is it failed, had it been a reception Carroll would have been a hero. Give credit to the defensive play. Bingo!
Super User Jar11591 Posted February 2, 2015 Super User Posted February 2, 2015 The reason is it was a bad call is because you can't be taking a risk like that when the game should be yours to win if you run the ball. It was a bad call because in that situation you better make d**n sure you get it right, which he didn't.
Super User F14A-B Posted February 2, 2015 Super User Posted February 2, 2015 It's this, plain and simple, Lynch can withstand 5 to 7 men trying to drag him to earth, he still manages to lunge forward for 3 to 5 feet.. Seahawks needed 3 feet. Bad, Bad, Bad gamble. Remember it was 2nd down as well...
Super User K_Mac Posted February 2, 2015 Super User Posted February 2, 2015 The only reason it was a bad call is it failed, had it been a reception Carroll would have been a hero. Give credit to the defensive play. Even if the pass play works, it is still a bad call. Throwing the ball in that situation makes no sense. Run the ball, use the remainder of the time, and go celebrate two in a row. What happened is the game ended as it should have: They lost a game they could have won because of a bad call. That was the margin of error between two great teams.

Super User F14A-B Posted February 2, 2015 Super User Posted February 2, 2015 Apparently, Bevell (OC) would rather cast a poor effort on his WR w/ 18 receptions, than admit it was the worst call in NFL history, Classy Guy right there, a really inspiring coach....
Super User HoosierHawgs Posted February 2, 2015 Super User Posted February 2, 2015 The reason is it was a bad call is because you can't be taking a risk like that when the game should be yours to win if you run the ball. Theee is no reason to put the game on the line, when your workhorse running back has proven all night that he could run through a tank.
Jd_Phillips_Fishin Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 3 feet from the goal line with one of the best running backs in the League and you dont give him thew ball.... Just dont get it
