Game Day!

Super Bowl I was actually the "World Championship" between the Kansas City Chiefs

and Green Bay Packers. The new American Football Leagues vs. the old guard, NFL.

I was in junior high at the time with the good fortune to have a mentor that loved football.

The Chiefs played at Municipal Stadium, the home of the Kansas City Athletics. During

the football season "temporary" stands were built in left field extending into center. This

seating became known as The Wolf Pack. Rabid fans from the very beginning, the excitement

of playing in the first Championship Game engulfed the entire region.

The Packers crushed the Chiefs, but never dampened our enthusiasm. Fast forward to

January 11, 1970 and I am a senior in high school. What a game! We would have never

guessed this would be our one and only Super Bowl victory.

Thirteen years later I became a Broncos fan, but that's another story. I have never missed

a Super Bowl on television, but have never been to a game live. If the Broncos make it to

The Big Show again, the wife and I will be there!

Good luck to both teams and their fans today. I don't really have a dog in the fight, but I

 like Giesele Bundchen.

it's not that it impacted this game but it is a rule that was broken, just a matter of who was involved.  But if it is found to be true and facilitated by the Cheatriots then it does bring into question other close games and that Indy is said to have brought this up to the league earlier in the season.  That leads me to two conclusions, the league brushed it under the rug and did nothing about it or the league did talk to them about their cheating and the did nothing in which case the penalty should be much stiffer than what people think.

Anyone else find it interesting that Goodell and the NFL sure is taking a long time to come up with a finding but in other cases it was only a matter of days before a decision and punishment was levied?

This is similar to what Seahawk's defensive back Richard Sherman said: "As long as Goodell and Kraft are taking pictures at each others' houses, then the rules won't be enforced." The fact is, this is a matter of integrity of the game. The league will suspends Marshawn Lynch from the Super Bowl, the biggest game of the year, for wearing golden cleats, but won't adress cheating in a play off game... Hmmmm

Did anyone get ejected, nope. They are threatening it because he has now been warned and if he does so then he will be tossed. People wear non sanctioned gear and get fined all the time. I think rg3 was fined for wearing different socks.

If lynch gets tossed now it isn't for the cleats it is for not heeding the dictator's rules

Can't believe Seattle handed it over right at the end.

That will go down as the dumbest, and most infamous calls in all of NFL history.

Craziest finsh ever to a great game. A Super Bowl worthy of the name...unless you're a Seattle fan I guess. Losing like that will be hard to forget.

After all is said and done I think the Patriots will win by four points in a close game.

I see LSU's Brandon LaFell catching at least one touchdown.

I also think the game will end in a dramatic fashion and there will be a big fight among players .

Can't wait to find out if my prophesy is correct.

Someone needs to check the tape, I definitely heard the air go out of something with about 30 sec left.

Crazy game.  That amazing Kearse catch to set up an improbable Wilson interception.  The Bennett offsides was icing on the cake.  At least Baldwin and Sherman will shut up now.....I hope.
