It's bad this year for sure. I've watched Dallas get robbed off 3 possible pick 6's due to early whistles calling the play dead. Why not let them play and go to the replay if you aren't 100% sure? The ruffing the passer call gets made a bit too quickly also, I don't think a 300lb man flying through the air can stop himself if the ball beats him by inches.

^^ there have been a lot of early whistles this season all around. If the play is a turnover it has to be reviewed anyway, just don't blow the dang whistle.

Thoroughly disappointed with my Lions sad performance against the bills. Their problem is that they seem to play down to the competition, and the missed field goals hurt. 8 missed field goals on the season so far :/ hopefully we can pick up Matt Prater.

Dude comes with some baggage, but when it comes to kicking, Matt can cure what ails ya!

Despite the worst officiating I've seen in years, Seattle overcame the yellow flags, led by Russell Wilson’s 122 yards rushing, a record for a quarterback in the 45-year history of Monday Night Football.

And for all the focus and talk the Legion Of Boom, the run defense has quietly snuffed out every opponent's ground game.  Seattle now holds the title of having the best run defense in the NFL, allowing just 249 yards on 95 carries in four games this season, just 2.6 yards per attempt — no other team in the NFL is allowing less than three yards per attempt.  The Seahawks longest run allowed this year is 16 yards, tied for the lowest in the NFL.

All the penalty calls are a Major Turn Off for me - makes the game very hard to enjoy.

The players are NOT adapting their games to prevent the calls resulting in a very poor product on the field.

There doesn't seem to be any more or less players injured, there's no flow to the game At All so what the heck is the benefit of it all ?

Who knows, I'm still waiting for the NFL to implement the HANS device :bushy-browed:

Russell Wilson's Running ability is what ultimately led to Denver being beat in overtime.. He's a very good running QB, but these running QB's are risking serious injury in doing so. At least till the NFL incorporates Flags on players sides! Anyone see that Chop block this past weekend?

Not a problem as the Lions are used to players having a drug problem.

For many years, the entire defense has been drug up and down the field weekly!  :respect-059:

such a good game. As a dallas die hard, I didn't believe they would finish better than 8-8. Seems now that unless Philly can figure out how to score on offense, dallas is going to run away the north.

edit: watching the first 2:30 minutes of this game, it seems they have it figured out again. Mccoy FINALLY getting going.

Geez, maybe the league should drug test the referee's. The terrible calls are going strong.

Philly finally has some continuity on the offensive line and that is without two of their best lineman playing who should be back in a few weeks.  Dallas came out strong and Seattle just didn't have it yesterday.  I am also not sure how you could say that dallas would run away with the division when the Eagles, not playing well until at night really, are still winning.  The Eagles have a brutal schedule the rest of the way but it should keep things interesting....The smartest thing the Cowboys have been doing is taking the ball out of Romo's hands when it matters and running Murray behind that offensive line, which is very very good.

Open till last night Phillies defense wasn't good. McCoy looked worse than Lacey and foals was the definition of regression. I'll be at Phillies offense of line has taken a massive hit and after last night it looks like their offense is finally clicking. Going into last nights game their defense has seven touchdowns.....seven. That's obviously in on sustainable amount but without that they'd be chasing Dallas by a couple games. Philly did look very ,very good last night though

Philly has been playing really good defense for about 4 weeks now counting last night but with the offensive line injuries they haven't been able to click on offense. IF McCoy can keep it going this offense could easily score more points going forward and if last year is any indication, they probably will.

They lead the league in forced fumbles which is not a sign of a bad defense.  What it does show that they are winning despite some inconsistency on the offensive side of the ball which is still second in the league in scoring and has the second highest point differential behind by two points.   And of course if a few plays went the other way the teams could lose but on the same token, if they score against san fran on the 1 they are 6-0.  It is also vey easy to make the same claim that dallas could easily be .500 as well.  If you look at common opponents thus far through the season, they both lost to san fran but the eagles played better and could have own.  they both won against the rams and dallas took a historic comeback to do it where the Eagles had a huge lead and almost let it get away.  Also, it isn't the defense that has all those TD, special teams has quite a few on blocked punts and 2 on returns.

The bottom line is both teams are 5-1, the Eagles are 2-0 in the division.  Both teams let up about the same amount of points but the Eagles score more and i give the nod on special teams to the eagles this season as they have a few blocked punts this year.

I am definitely looking forward to the Thanksgiving day game....

well they're clearly legit but sustainability is the issue.

Do yall think Dallas is legit?

That young line is going to keep them legit for the next half decade barring injury. Its the perfect way to dictate how a game is played and protect youre D. They are calling it the great wall of Dallas.

It is still early in the season so i guess they are as legit as any other team with one loss.  I don't see murray being able to keep up his pace as he has never played an entire season before.  their offensive line is really good though and as long as they don't get stupid and try to let Romo win games they will be a good team.  I do wonder though how much better can they play.  Seems like maybe they peaked too early and are getting primed for the normal december collapse.....guess time will tell though but they have 4 winnable games out of their next 5 so the 8-8 curse may be broken this year lol

Looks like the wife and I may be in Seattle for that game against the Niners.  A good friend has great seats available for us.
