Super User roadwarrior Posted September 8, 2014 Super User Posted September 8, 2014 Last year Seattle upset the best team in the NFL. CONGRATULATIONS Seahawks! This year may be different... The Road To The Super Bowl begins in 16 minutes... GO BRONCOS! p.s. How hot is Carrie Underwood in that little bitty skirt? 3
Super User Darren. Posted September 8, 2014 Super User Posted September 8, 2014 I just gotta say, go BILLS! Upset Da Bears today. Hey, a guy can dream, can't he?! Like Boomer said on ESPN today, there are 86 years left this century for the Bills to win! 1
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted September 8, 2014 BassResource.com Administrator Posted September 8, 2014 Well in their first series there were several dropped balls, nearly an interception, a false start, and a 1st and goal that they couldn't convert into 7 points. "Best team in the NFL"? Hardly. You better hope their defense does better, otherwise it's going to be a long night for Broncos fans.
Super User F14A-B Posted September 8, 2014 Super User Posted September 8, 2014 Go Broncos!! Hey old guys take a bit longer to get going... Right Glenn? Lol....
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted September 8, 2014 BassResource.com Administrator Posted September 8, 2014 Yup, looks like they're doing better now. For a moment there, it looked as if the mighty Superbowl team showed up. LOL!
Super User Redlinerobert Posted September 8, 2014 Super User Posted September 8, 2014 Niners did well today. I'm looking forward to this season!
Super User flyfisher Posted September 8, 2014 Super User Posted September 8, 2014 Eagles scared me today, as usual. Their defense did really well as soon as they settled down and shut them out for three quarters and once Foles realized, hey i can play this sport he did well too. Ugly win but still a win....next week ought to be a fun one with philly heading to indy on monday night.
Super User Darren. Posted September 8, 2014 Super User Posted September 8, 2014 Welp... Broncs are moving the chains and adding to the scoreboard rather well at this point.
Super User Long Mike Posted September 8, 2014 Super User Posted September 8, 2014 Looks like Denver is hitting its stride, and Carrie Underwood would look hot in a NASA spacesuit. 4
Super User F14A-B Posted September 8, 2014 Super User Posted September 8, 2014 Long Mike, I frigging lost it when I read that!!!!
Super User iabass8 Posted September 8, 2014 Super User Posted September 8, 2014 Niners did well today. I'm looking forward to this season! I wouldn't really say the Niners did well more so rather that Dallas was as awful as awful can be. 2
Super User F14A-B Posted September 8, 2014 Super User Posted September 8, 2014 Yea, Romo being Romo... 1
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted September 8, 2014 BassResource.com Administrator Posted September 8, 2014 S.F. beat....Dallas. Not much of a stress test there. And yet Kapernick's numbers were average. I'd be worried if I were a niner's fan. Then again...they play Chicago next week. The Bears looked awful in their season opener today. So I guess I can see the optimism. 1
Super User Redlinerobert Posted September 8, 2014 Super User Posted September 8, 2014 Glenn, Seattle was good last year, no doubt. However their NFC win came down to one, last, lucky play. Let's see how this year plays out.
Super User Catch and Grease Posted September 8, 2014 Super User Posted September 8, 2014 I'm really hoping the steelers can get it done this year... But if they keep playing like they did against the browns they can kiss this season goodbye.
Super User A-Jay Posted September 8, 2014 Super User Posted September 8, 2014 The Pats looked bad & Brady Looked OLD. A-Jay 4
Super User Catch and Grease Posted September 8, 2014 Super User Posted September 8, 2014 The Pats looked bad & Brady Looked OLD. A-Jay They were doing pretty awesome the first half... I turned it off and ate dinner and when I started watching again they were getting destroyed...
Super User Felix77 Posted September 8, 2014 Super User Posted September 8, 2014 The Giants play tonight. I just hope they look more like the Eagles did yesterday in the 2nd half than Washington or Dallas did all day. Otherwise it is going to be a LONG, LONG season ... 1
Fisher-O-men Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Niners did well today. I'm looking forward to this season! Romo handed them that game on a silver platter!
Super User Felix77 Posted September 8, 2014 Super User Posted September 8, 2014 Romo handed them that game on a silver platter! I agree ... Hard to get a gauge as to how good the Niners are going to be from this game for sure.
Super User flyfisher Posted September 8, 2014 Super User Posted September 8, 2014 part of being a good team is taking what is handed to you and capitalizing. Good defense isn't always the fault of bad offense either but in the case of Romo it is probably 50/50 as he is known to choke and give up the ball in key spots.
Super User Oregon Native Posted September 8, 2014 Super User Posted September 8, 2014 Glenn, Seattle was good last year, no doubt. However their NFC win came down to one, last, lucky play. Let's see how this year plays out. I like a lil luck...especially when fishin!!! 1
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted September 8, 2014 Super User Posted September 8, 2014 After seeing the Pats make a complete 180 in the second half, I switched over to the Saints/Falcons game. Probably the best game I saw yesterday. 1
Super User Catch and Grease Posted September 8, 2014 Super User Posted September 8, 2014 After seeing the Pats make a complete 180 in the second half, I switched over to the Saints/Falcons game. Probably the best game I saw yesterday. Definitely a good last quarter! 1
Super User roadwarrior Posted September 14, 2014 Author Super User Posted September 14, 2014 The Chiefs travel to Denver today. A traditional rivalry that has been a little lopsided in recent years. I was at Mile High when Joe Montana was with the Chiefs and won a nail-biter on Monday Night Football. Today's game doesn't have the same charge, but Kansas City always brings their A game to Denver.
