Im trying to use 3 factors in picking a medium heavy or medium rod. Customer reviews, price, and warranty. I cant go to a store and try the three im looking at out....

Here are the ones I like

Fenwick either elite tech bass (brand new) or aetos

Aetos has some negative comments, the warranty seems decent, accidental break you send in after pics and they assess the damage and quote you

St Croix Avid all great comments, the warranty is more to replace the rod 75$

Dobyns Saavy all great comments, no questions asked replacement with 60$

The st croix and dobyns saavy all sound promising but the Fenwicks look good and have relatively good reviews. My price range would be 150-200. Spinning rod for jerkbaits, trigs, and jigs.

If you have one of the three I would like feedback please.

Roadwarrior have you tried this rod? Just looked at this and helios. Both look good nothing about warranty on website but someone said accidentally broke and was replaced for shipping costs. Thanks for the link.

I have Fenwick elite tech smallmouth rod and a couple of avids. Both are nice rods. The Fenwick casts further but the avids might be a litte more sensitive. If it's a casting rod,I would go with the Fenwick and for spinning, the avid.

Id go with the fensick or st croix. Havent tried the new elite tech rods but the smallmouth version they just discontinued was awesome for the price. Cant beat the st croix warranty though and its made in the usa. The savvy is subpar on sensitivity for the price from what ive heard from members in the local bass club and even from die hard dobyns fans online in this forum and others. Id get an *** black before the savvy or one of the other 2 you mentioned

I just bought a duckett micro magic and I would buy another in a heartbeat, I really am pleased with it.  If ducketts didnt exist I would probably get a St Croix or a Falcon Cara.  Falcons cara is a wonderful rod, really really nice!  And St Croix is a great rod made by a great company.
