papajoe222 Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Well, my getting a new Daiwa Sol II is out of the question, at least until my birthday rolls around. I picked up a used Sol for a song and have enough funds left for a fairly nice rod. I really don't know what it is about these reels, but my boat's deck is going to look awesome with three combos on the port side all with that purty gold reel on 'em. Quote
Super User new2BC4bass Posted September 4, 2014 Super User Posted September 4, 2014 Daiwa is making Sols again? Nice reels, but I prefer my Fuegos for some reason. What techniques do you use your Sols for? Quote
Cgrinder Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 I like my Sol. Then again it's basically an orange PX Type R. 1 Quote

Also on topic, the clicking drag upgrade for the Alphas is so worth it. 1 Quote
