I am looking at going big and getting a Legemd Elite 7'6" ML power XF action to use for dropshots. Was wondering about the overall performance of this rod. I will most likely be pairing it with a stradic CI4 and 10lb braid. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I dont have that particular model but I have this one LXS76MF.  Its the step up I use for just about everything I do for spinning fishing from shaky heads, ds, senkos, to small jigs and tubes.  It is the best spinning rod I've ever used.  That reel is also a great choice.  Good reel and light.

LES70MF would be my suggestion for a GREAT all-around spinning rod.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I already have a couple of avids that I use for everything you would use on a spinning rod except for dropshots. I don't feel like either of them have the right action, so I am looking at a more dropshot specific model. I also prefer longer rods, which is why I was looking at the 7'6". I will definitely consider that model in the future for a shaky head specific rod though.

I built an Avid in that action and power and absolutely hated it til I fished it with braid. I couldn't keep fish buttoned up when I used it with fluoro.
