Thinking about picking up a daiwa zillion and have a gew questions.

I have a zilion type r handle im putting on it. Will it work with the stock drag star?

Is the type r worth the 200 ish $ more than the regular if i already have the type r handle?

Can i put an rcs1016 spool in a zillion and will the zillion spool fit in a t3?

Does this reel feel better in an NRX than a T31016? I wasnt able to use my 894 but held it for a min before i left town and wasnt sure if i liked the t3 on it.

Take all of what I say with a grain of salt, because I am speaking what I think I know, and have not actually tried some of this.

The stock dragstar will work fine with the Type R handle.

I don't think that the type R is worth the extra money if you already have the handle.

The RCS 1016 won't fit in a Zillion, it will fit in the TDZ 103 and 105, and a couple of the Steeze reels and the Zillion spool will not fit the T3.    The Zillion spool will fit a Fuego, and a TDZ-100M.

I think your other questions are more a matter of opinion.

Remember that the Type-R has a much better drag system than the regular zillion too.

Spend $8 on carbontex drag washers and problem solved. Even though the stock drag works just fine.
