Do I Look Like I Care?

It's 7:00 this morning and I'm flipping docks when I happen across a guy at his dock changing his prop. He says "Morning" and I should have said "Morning", and left it at that. But noooooooo. I had to say "Messed up your prop?" Rather than saying "Yep" the response went something like this.

"My wife, I mean my soon to be ex wife ran over a blanket. I worked from 11-7 last night(he's still wearing his uniform and had drove up in a ComEd bucket truck) and now I got to change this prop. I've only been on the boat twice this year and she is ruining it. She goes to Blarneys Island(watering hole) and scratches the crap out of it. I should have got divorced 10 years ago (at this point in time I get a hit and miss my hookset) Marriage takes a lot of work. Divorce takes a lot of money." I said "Good luck" and was on my way. The conversation this morning reminded me of a few BR members. LOL You know who you are

Considering the dock thread we had on here a couple of weeks ago, at least you were able to flip around his dock without incident.... just a guy venting his frustration.

Let's just say this. I went for a boat ride

 

Sam, I normally talk to everybody on the docks except the young girls. Don't want to be thought of as a dirty old man. I finally had a chance to talk to a guy whose dock I flip religiously. He has a 25-30ft open bow with (3) 300 Verados on it. Shame 900hp only gets him to 74
