Super User Sam Posted August 31, 2014 Super User Posted August 31, 2014 Yep. So far he is not in the Classic. But I think there are one or two tournaments to go. So who knows? Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted August 31, 2014 Super User Posted August 31, 2014 i don't think he can make it no matter what he does... http://www.bassmaster.com/blog/kvd-no-excuses-it-hurts Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted August 31, 2014 Super User Posted August 31, 2014 The season is over for KVD. The top 50 in AOY points have one more tournament, KVD finished at 53, so he is done until next spring. Quote
CDMeyer Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Yeah I saw that as well, but he will come back with vengeance Quote

bighed Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 KVD will be at the Classic and should be more available to his fans than usual. 1 Quote
Super User J Francho Posted September 17, 2014 Super User Posted September 17, 2014 I took too stubborn of approach this year and relied too much on past experiences. Hmmm....that never happens to anyone here, lol. 1 Quote
Super User gardnerjigman Posted September 26, 2014 Super User Posted September 26, 2014 Just shows you can't get to comfortable. Always have to step out into new styles, baits and areas. Fishing history/memories can only work do long.... Quote

If you have anything KVD bring it to the Classic and he will autograph it. I have one of is books autographed while he was in Richmond many years ago and will bring the other one with me. He is one of the nicest people in the world and you will enjoy meeting and having your picture taken with him. 2 Quote

Yep, he was at the Oakley Big Bass Tour at Table Rock a few years ago while my wife and I were staying at Big Cedar where they were doing the hourly weigh ins at. I wasn't even fishing in it, and KVD was pretty busy, but he still took the time to talk to me, take a picture with my wife and I, and gave me an Oakley hat and signed it for me. Talked to me like we were old fishing buddies for a couple minutes before I left him alone so he could get back to what he was doing and so I could go fishing 5 Quote
