Comfortably Numb Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 This new saltless formula will allow fairly clear baits that show glitter well. Same size, weight, sink rate, and softness as a real one. Durability test are underway. Sorry but I do not sell them. Thanks to Baitjunkys and Wally for initial recon 4 Quote
starcraft1 Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 JMO, wouldn't a blue line thru the middle work? It looks as if a small amount of glitter would do well. Would make a great red/ green flake mixture. Quote
Comfortably Numb Posted September 2, 2014 Author Posted September 2, 2014 I'm showing this to show that it it now possible to get a fairly clear bait that sinks and is as soft as a real Senko. Something that was impossible for anyone or any company to do before. I would not neccesarily fish it clear like that, although as you said I have been making them with different color glitter that really shine and sparkle great. Quote
Super User F14A-B Posted September 2, 2014 Super User Posted September 2, 2014 Those will be sweet, I am sure....nice! Quote
zachvu Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Why are there so many flukes made that are clear with different colors of sparkle, but no senkos? Is it the sink rate that you mentioned, or another reason? Quote
Greeneye8181 Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 How about a solid line that shines? Like a piece of foil or whatever the bait companies use? Thats pretty cool though! Quote
Brayberry Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 If you need anyone to test these bait out, pm me, I love the look of them Quote

Comfortably Numb Posted September 4, 2014 Author Posted September 4, 2014 Fished them this morning for a few hours before it got too hot. Caught 7 small bass skipping under docks and branches. Wacky rigged with single o-ring. Bait sank and shimmied just like a real senko. Only used one bait and still looks like new. I dont fish them Texas so not sure how they would last that way. Quote
Comfortably Numb Posted September 4, 2014 Author Posted September 4, 2014 Regular senkos and sticks use salt to add weight so the bait sinks. That tends to cloud the plastic. Core shots (center diferent color can not be done easily with multi cavity molds. Not many try foil inside. I never tried it. Quote
Super User F14A-B Posted September 4, 2014 Super User Posted September 4, 2014 I have heard over the years, senkos have silica in them as well, a blood/ blue vien would be so cool, but yea, tough to do, no doubt! Good Work, always interesting hearing from bait makers .... Quote
