Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted August 31, 2014 Global Moderator Posted August 31, 2014 Well I guess that blows the "replicas don't look real" argument right out of the water Looks like that thing would swim away if if touched the water. 1 Quote

FrogFreak Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Wow! That's a beautiful gal. I need one to look at for the long winter ahead. 1 Quote
papajoe222 Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Hey, isn't that my PB bluegill mount? He said he was going to use it for something when my check bounced! Awesome fish and mount. You do realize that you can never go back to Baccarac because you could possibly catch a bigger one. I'll make a deal with you.......I'll go in your place and I promise not to only catch dinks. 1 Quote
einscodek Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 You have my respect for getting a replica, showing mercy for the fish, and consideration for future fellow anglers ! Nice fish replica.. and more importantly you'll always have the memory of that experience! 3 Quote
Zach Dunham Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 After seeing this, I definitely need to get a fish mounted! That is ridiculous! 1 Quote
Toallhisdoom Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Finally got my mount of my PB 10lb14oz bass caught at Lake Baccarac in Mexico. It is truly a work of art. Jeff Looks great! Where did you have it done? Also how much does it cost?? 2 Quote

Super User Redlinerobert Posted September 4, 2014 Super User Posted September 4, 2014 Told you he did amazing work. Perfection takes time. Congrats pal. 1 Quote
Super User Shane J Posted September 5, 2014 Super User Posted September 5, 2014 That seriously looks amazing. Probably one of the nicest I've ever seen. I was also curious as to why you didn't go with a tilapia , just because that's what she was eating just prior to your crank coming along. Either way, it's amazing, and you will forever be able to tell the story, with a gorgeous visual, the story of that awesome fish. Now, you're kinda gonna have to do another mount every time you break that PB, and that could get expensive, because there are many more bigger than that in your future if you keep going down there! 1 Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted September 5, 2014 Author Super User Posted September 5, 2014 He did not have a tilapia mold, or else it would have been a tilapia for sure. Thanks everyone. He does amazing work for sure. Also, Shane, I will be happy to get more mounts "every time I break my PB" !!! Seriously that is a good problem to have! Jeff 1 Quote
einscodek Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 What was the length on that fish by the way,.. did you get a measure on that fish besides the weight? Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted September 5, 2014 Author Super User Posted September 5, 2014 What was the length on that fish by the way,.. did you get a measure on that fish besides the weight? Yep. She was 24 1/4 long by 18 1/8 girth! Jeff Quote
