What is the general opinion on the best color braid for general all around use. By that I mean water that is clear, stained dirty, etc. I am consider camo or maybe ghost. What are your thoughts?

By the way. no leader used.

I like Sunline FX2 with the alternating blue/green pattern.

Do you feel that's good in clear water?

I usually go for dark green because most clear lakes in my area are filled with vegetation so it blends well and it doesn't matter much for stained water.

I've mostly used green in the past (and still do) but I've started using white with good results as well. Either of these two are good in my opinion.

Moss green for the reasons stated by Tyler. It just looks like weeds, especially if using a fluorocarbon leader.

I used a suffix flourescent orange... Didn't care for it... 50 pd... Somewhat messy, didn't take long for it to come unglued, so to speak.. Next for me is White! Some folks like yellow... I am going to just go with white though....

I like the hi vis yellow PP slick. I color the last 15 feet with a black sharpie. I fish clear water lakes also.
