OntarioFishingGuy Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 His mouth is the size of the treble! Quote
BennyB Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 So which one was the lure, Ha. Do you have rainbows stocked in that lake? Quote
Super User gulfcaptain Posted August 25, 2014 Super User Posted August 25, 2014 I get 6" bass chasing 8" swimbaits all the time. They don't know how big they are but I know how big they think they are. 1 Quote
Super User everythingthatswims Posted August 25, 2014 Author Super User Posted August 25, 2014 So which one was the lure, Ha. Do you have rainbows stocked in that lake? Actually mainly brook trout (and yes there are some BIG girls in there, that I have yet to figure out). Bass that have never seen a trout in their life will eat trout patterns though. Quote
Super User gulfcaptain Posted August 25, 2014 Super User Posted August 25, 2014 Your swimbait wasn't too big, that bass was just too small. Quote
Super User rippin-lips Posted August 26, 2014 Super User Posted August 26, 2014 Is that a spro? Quote
mnbassman23 Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 I thought bass had to be a minimum of 8lbs to hit a swimbait.. Good to know I can put down the drop shot and start thorwing my swimbaits again 1 Quote
Super User everythingthatswims Posted August 26, 2014 Author Super User Posted August 26, 2014 Is that a spro? Yep, 6" floater. I have caught piles of fish on it, they may not be a flashy $100+ piece of art but they get the job done. Quote

It's one of the cheapest hand made swimbaits you can get. At $50 I still think it's not cheap but compared to an Xl nezuma rat it's like a fisher price toy. Joining SU and seeing those people collections just blows my mind. Quote
