BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted August 24, 2014 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted August 24, 2014 Yes, those are the Shaw Grigsby hooks. The wireguard hooks are the Mark Zona "Bite Me" tube jigs. Quote
doyle8218 Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Yes, those are the Shaw Grigsby hooks. The wireguard hooks are the Mark Zona tube jigs. I am looking for the one that the wire guard slides in the tube and out the head. Located 02:34 on your vid. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted August 24, 2014 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted August 24, 2014 Yep, that's "Bite Me" Mark Zona tube jigs. I think I got them at BPS Quote
Super User F14A-B Posted August 24, 2014 Super User Posted August 24, 2014 Very Nice Video, Glenn! It's candy alright!! Quote
doyle8218 Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 d**n, I cant find them. I found the Bite Me, but it has no weed guard. Quote
Dypsis Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 I also would be interested in getting some of these (Weedless tube jig) but like doyle cannot locate them at BassPro or TW. Quote
papajoe222 Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Anyone able to locate the hook? I was also unable to find them, but Bass Pro does offer their own version. I've been using them for a few years with good success. The main difference is the line tie which is turned 90 degrees so the eye sits horizontal Quote

CCPonder Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 Thanks. Here is the link if anyone is interested. Credit goes to papajoe222 http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-XPS-Weedless-Tube-Heads/product/74257/ I'm looking for those same hooks, but that link is outdated I guess. Anybody have a clue where or how to find those or the Mark Zona wireguard hooks Glenn used in that video? I'd sure like to locate some of those. For my purposes I'd much prefer this type weed guard rather than the other kinds. For as many guys who seem to be interested in them, you'd think somebody would be selling them. Quote
CCPonder Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Finally placed an order with another site for some Oldhams weedless jig heads. They look like they'll work ok. It wasn't exactly what I wanted, but it was the closest I could get with the type of weed guard I wanted. Couldn't find those other ones anywhere, online or in the BPS store. Anyway that was a great video Glenn. Quote
