Going to be staying in Riviera Beach toward the end of November. Looked on Google Earth and on the Florida fish and game website. Can't find many public waters in that area. If anyone could point me in the right direction on some places to go that would be great. Thanks in advance and Fish On!

I don't know of any lakes in Riviera Beach, but I would suggest that you wear a bullet proof vest at all times while there. That's a rough place.

That's no joke.

I've never fished bass up there, just not familiar but I do know the area and some really good fishing there.  Palm Beach inlet noted for huge jacks, park by the police station.  I would check out Peanut Island in the ICW, there is a ferry located at the Sailfish Inn, not a bad place to fish.  Cross over the bridge and go north on A1A a short distance to the City Beach, an excellent beach to fish from and it's that time of year now.

Hey Bucktail, you'll be less than an hour drive from Lake Okeechobee! Lake O's a world class bass lake, with all kinds of boat rentals and guide service available. Also, November is usually a darn good month for LMB there. Check out the Roland Martin Marina, Scott Martin Guide service, and Slim's Fish Camp in Belle Glade. If an hour's too far or you're just gonna go banking, go to Lake Osborn or stroll the myriad canals in the area. And like Snookalot said (above), don't forget our fiesty salty critters. Those jacks in the inlet will knock your socks off. I've caught 'em over 40 lbs. there and they fight like tuna.  Snook, too, are there. Riviera Beach is right by the inlet.

Lake Catherine is 5 minutes away. Royal Palm beach has some decent spots. Are you bank fishing or do you you have access to a small boat? If you have access to a boat I would suggest the royal palm chain or lake Wellington. Some excellent bass fishing . There are some excellent ponds scattered throughout Palm beach gardens and Jupiter that hold good sized bass. All of this is within a half hour reach.

PGA national( main entrance off of northlake) has some pretty decent bank fishing opportunities. 10 minutes away. You are also close to Jonathan Dickinson park which is good and they rent out canoes.

Dyer park holds some good bass, away from the hood and not too pressured from what I've seen. PM me if you need more north palm beach area spots.
