(make sure you don't get the quick dry 5minutes) I usually mix it with some rubbing alcohol so it's easier to spread out evenly. Also you can put some food coloring in with the epoxy so you can see where you have already been. I let 1 coat dry then I apply a second coat. If you get enough epoxy on the cavity you won't need any release agent for a shiny bait!! 2. Use pyrex for your own safety!!! 3. You can't really make a mold for skirts. You can cut them with a razor if you make tubes. If you are looking for something like a fat ika skirt that you can attatch to a bait then goto www.getbitlures.com. Best skirts on the market and made by a fellow hand pourer. His are injected. 4. I usually put mine in a ziplock back. But you want to try to use it all up when it's fresh or you will have a chance at getting a lot of bubbles. 5. NO!! not if you have just enough epoxy on it!! Quote
Mattlures Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 what he said. you can purchase floater bubles from the same places you buy your plastic suplies. They will turn your baits a very opaque white. Quote
