What's your overall favorite brand of braid?

Suffix. BTW, there is a forum for this. You may get more responses there.

Sorry, you need some alone time??

I'll put in another vote for original Power Pro. The couple times I've spooled with Super 8 Slick I didn't like how it behaved compared to the original.

Power Pro original in yellow is my braid of choice. Given how expensive braid is, I'm not biting at the bit to try 832, others. I have spent a lot of money on braid and kept coming back to original PP, so that's where I've stayed put.

Not that I won't venture out an try something new in the future, mind you!

Power Pro (original & S8S) and P-Line. I'm really looking forward to trying their new 8 carrier braid.

Original power pro for me. Been using it for a long time with no troubles.

Purchased 832 recently to try because of all the people I hear say how great it is. Nothing bad to say about it but it's nothing special. Seems noiser to me honestly.

Don't favor any brand.  I've done just fine with every major company's line, sale price gets my attention which seems to be PP most of the time.

Sufix performance braid. It's somewhat noisy, but doesn't seem to be as affected by wind and tip wrap in my experience. Don't care much for the 8 carrier braids. They may be quieter, but are to soft and limp for my taste. I tried 832 and it seemed grabby. The Ss 8 frayed like crazy. Original power pro is too rough, so I found a happy medium with performance braid.

Tuf-Line Tournament 8 is my new favorite.

Others include Kanzen, Sufix 832 and Tuf-Line HeviCore

I'm partial to PowerPro and the new Seaguar Smackdown.

For spinning I like Fireline the best.  For casting, Power Pro.   The lighter PP line always seems to get wind knotted on a spin setup.  Fireline wil last for years on a reel.  Heavy PP wokrs great on a casting setup.
