Anyone use the St. Croix Legend Elite seris rods? I am considering buying a spinning rod in that seris. Looking for around a 7 footer in M action.

Any comments or opinions about that line would be appreciated. How do you think they compare to a DX Dobyns for example?

One of my favorite rods. The DX rods balance a bit better, but there's no question that the St Croix is more sensitive and has much better build quality.

Does the Legend Elite spinning have micro type guides at the tip or top section as the Legend Extreme casting does? I hope not. Also, are they finished in forest green, or are they black as in the Avid seris?

LES66MF here, but very sweet as is the 7' and yes they are Forrest Green, and no they do not use micro guides. The Legend Elites are by far the most impressive rods I have found in my 60 years, I like them all, the 7' MF is an excellent rod and better in deep water or when fishing with a lot of line out than my 6'6", another great option and the 6'6" has a little faster tip. Either one is GREAT!!

Although I don't have a LES rod I do have the Xtreme which is built on the same blank. It's an insane rod and by far my favorite! I haven't used a DX rod so i can't really compare, but can only tell you how much I love my Xtreme's and that you'd love an Legend Elite.

The LES spinning rods are fantastic.  I have a 7' MHF and also have a 2-pc 6'6" MF LES, and the 2-pc is better than most all my other rods.

Are the Legend Elites the same color as the Legend Extremes or are they different?
