illinifan4152 Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Hey everyone, I am headed to Lake Chautauqua in New York this weekend and I have no experience whatsoever there. So, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this lake or any suggestions for this time of year up there. Thank you in advance! Quote
Schnizzy99 Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 If its warm enough and sunny maybe try flipping all the boat docks. Or try and find some deep structure and throw big jiga down. Also you could try throwing some spinnerbaits around cover. Hope this helps. Quote

Super User Felix77 Posted August 18, 2014 Super User Posted August 18, 2014 That place is near and dear to my heart for 2 reasons ... #1 - It was my first state tournament and #2 - I finished in the money doing one thing ... skipping docks with a weightless senko Texas rigged. Skip it deep under the docks. Look for shade made by the docks and cast it in there first. Vary the size and color ... the seem to eat it like candy at times. Others were flipping brush hogs, beaver style baits, and jigs. Good luck! Quote
