BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted August 17, 2014 BassResource.com Administrator Posted August 17, 2014 Due to the popularity to popularity of this topic, i put together this short video. There are more than 5 ways to rig it, of course, and i mention several others in the video. Enjoy! http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/how-to-rig-senko.html Note that I don't mention the use of O-rings for wacky rigging. When I found a broken wacky ring at the bottom of my livewell, I stopped recommending their use. I never used them to begin with, so clearly it broke on the hookset when somebody else was using it, and the fish ate the Senko. Not good! 1 Quote
gramps50 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Great video Glen, thanks. Really like the idea about pegging the sencos. Quote
jbw252 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Thank you, Glen. Nice video. I, too, liked the mono pegging tip! Quote
Super User tcbass Posted August 17, 2014 Super User Posted August 17, 2014 Another way to peg the Texas Rigged Senko is to put a swivel on the line and then tie the hook. Hook the Senko and then slide the other end of the swivel over the hook and pull it up to the Senko, then hook the center of the Senko. Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted August 17, 2014 Super User Posted August 17, 2014 Excellent video... haven't used the mojo version but will be giving that a shot next time I'm out. Thannks! Quote

bassguytom Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Thanks Glenn, the pegging with heavy mono is brilliant! I will try that with my other Texas rigged baits also. Quote
