I just bought a 1/4 oz black jig. I am wondering what color trailer would be more effective. An all black, or a black/blue? Thanks for the help.

Any trailer color is fine as long as your jig is black.

Where I am a black & blue chigger craw has been working well with any black jig, buzzbait, or chatter type lure.

1/4 black jig, use a 101 black or 101A black/ blue spin frog.

I use black and blue with a black jig. My wife says anything will go with black so use whatever you want.

Green pumpkin trailers work great with black more so than many people believe. At the same time a black trailer with a green pumpkin jig works well too.

I would start with a black trailer.  If that didn't work I would try blue and then green pumpkin.
