How are you guys making your molds for plastics?  I've seen some pictures of really nice looking ones that are laser cut and everything, but they look expensive.  I also read about people making their own...I'm just curious.  I want to get into all this stuff this winter and I'm gathering a lot of info  before I "dive" in.

Yeah, I should have read a few more threads before posting.  I found another thread about several places to get moldings and things...oops. ;D

you can use resin, plaster of paris, and a few other materials.  There are a couple tutorials up on the menu bar I was reading yesterday.  I'm in the same boat as you.  I ordered all the stuff to start making some bait. I cant wait.

I came across several nice aluminum molds today, but some are just 1 sided.  Do you think it's possible to pour your mold, let it dry and take it out, then pour again and place the previous mold over the top of that so you can have a complete mold and not a mold with a flat side on it?
