Super User tcbass Posted August 13, 2014 Author Super User Posted August 13, 2014 Raul, agreed. Unless you don't own your own boat and are limited to how many different setups you can access at one time. As a Co angler, I have two 6'6" mh rods that are general purpose, and I have considered running speed clips on these many times. These may be a better option? I've read some bad reviews on the Norman speed clips. However, I've never used them. 3 of us have not had any issues with the KVD clips though and we've caught quite a fish including tackle busting northerns with not one problem. 1 Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted August 13, 2014 Super User Posted August 13, 2014 If I saw them in a store I might try them, I don't think I'd go out of my way to find them. I do use a duolock sometimes in freshwater but I've been getting out of that habit and prefer to tie. I gave up on them for saltwater too, don't like extra hardware and I don't use wire either, even for barracuda. Quote
hatrix Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 I just started using the Spro Split Snaps. They are super easy to switch stuff out on and are pretty heavy duty. There is also like no way they can open up or whatever and you loose a bait because of them. Quote
