Been looking at this bait and it looks pretty cool, I'm thinking of getting a couple but they are 19.99$...

Do you guys like them? Are they worth the money?

what colors do Y'all like for them, If I get em ill probably go All-in and buy three lol

Does it walk any good or is it more of a pop and stop lure?

Would you say its worth 20$ or should I wait and try to find a deal...

You will never find a "deal" when it comes to Megabass lures. Finding a "deal" could consist in finding a used one in e-bay or IchibanTackle, add the cost of shipping and voilá, it will cost you the same or even more than a new one.

My favorites are Tonosama Frog, CMF ( cracked matte frog ) and Black Orochi.

I have a couple. As mentioned the detail is unmatched and they work. I also have a few River2Sea bubble pop's. It's a cheaper alternative and works just as well. It looks like the same blank almost but it's not. The line tie and around the mouth is different. The shape of the lure is very similar though.

Great popper. I still prefer the Yellow magic over the PopMax though.

The nice thing about topwater baits is you don't  normally lose them.  Be vigilant about your line and should be able to hang on to them for a long time.

I love them. And I don't mind spending that kind of money on a top water, less chance of getting hung on something.

Read my mind  :eyebrows:

Chain pickerel here account for most of my lost baits. That's the main thing id be afraid of, I won't be throwing these in the back of banks lake where you can catch jacks more than bass some days ( but man there are huge bass back there )

Nope, no trees in Kansas. Just don't snag a cow or let a tornado suck them up and you'll be fine.  :laugh5:

They're a good bait and like others said, the chances of losing a topwater are way less than a diving bait. Fish it on braid if you're really worried about it. Just don't bounce them off of anything, Megabass baits are notorious for being fragile.

You must not have toothy critters in your neck of the woods lol

There are a couple of lakes i hate throwing my Vixen on...but i do it anyway lol

You're right, I don't have toothy bait stealers here.  I always forget that other people do.

Pike and Musky dont like cheap baits either oh no! They gotta have LC, sebile, megabass, etc

I think it comes from them seeing lots of big expensive swimbaits and spinner baits like the double cowgirl and such lol

I learned long ago that it is easier to catch them in the water as opposed to the trees!
