JDJ Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 When do you choose to fish one over the other? Quote
Super User ChrisD46 Posted August 11, 2014 Super User Posted August 11, 2014 The Arky style is a good all - around style jig but mainly used for pitching , dragging or bottom hoping . The Brush style head is best if you have stick ups or other obstructions you are trying to fish a jig through . If your not sure what you will encounter then you can't go wrong with a Arky style jig ... Quote
Todd2 Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 I use Arkies for everything. Usually blk/blue 1/2 oz. Pitch, drag, hop, swim, etc. I don't know why other jigs were made, lol. 1 Quote
Super User Catt Posted August 11, 2014 Super User Posted August 11, 2014 I throw a grass jig 100% of the time Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 I throw a brush jig almost 100% of the time. I like the headstyle and I like the way it holds the craw up. Arkys are also a great all around jig head and will do just about anything you ask it to. Quote
