Took my first trip to Delacroix, La this Tuesday and got run off the water early due to rain. Did a lot of paddling to find the gin clear water with holes wide enough in the muck to fish. Fish were caught on weedless gold spoons and the Live Target frog.

I picked up one little bass early but was in for a little surprise when I swung on the second fish. Gotta love brackish water fishing! I plan on heading back this Sunday with dad in the bass boat to scout the area further and find better yak spots. I know there are oodles of marsh bass out there. I may bring the GoPro hat mount and film some as well.

If you guys like the videos, feel free to check out the other two on my channel, as well as like and subscribe. As soon as I can start building some more footage, I will be doing more editing, adding music, etc. These are my first couple vids as of now, so they aren't too fancy, editing wise.

Hope you guys enjoy them!

Thanks guys. I'm looking forward to spending a lot more time out there this year. It's hard to find water that clear in the rivers and bayous of south Louisiana. No monsters on this trip, but I'm sure the place is crawling with fat bass and brute redfish. Just need to put in the time and find them.
