Walmart Jimmy Houston Camo Rod

I'm visiting my kids here in Indiana and the Walmart has this baitcast camo rod from Jimmy Houston. 

 

I see it's just an IM6 graphite with a small touch of faux graphite to lock down the reel. The card says "premium" guides. 

 

So...is this a good rod to just kick around with since I brought a baitcaste reel? I'm looking at the 6'6" mh and it's $40.

 

Any input?

I would just throw in the extra $10 for a Berkley Lightning Shock.

Ya at walmart the berkley lightning shock is like $40. If it isn't the same price there show them online. I would replace all my rods with the berkley lightning shocks but I like to keep variety.
