Nice fishes.. how deep were you fishin yer jigs

The last 3 fish were all caught super shallow. The water came up a lot where I was fishing because of the heavy rains we had got a few days before. The last 3 fish were all caught in less then 5 feet of water.

Alright i got mine done , not the best month for size for me but I caught  the most fish in 1 month than I ever have before . I fished out of every where in my area and learned a lot more of the places I fish , which is a win win. Last month i got  some pigs  ill post a few pics.  this month was quantity over quality even though i was throwing big baits for hours a day the little 1-3 ponders just wanted to play. As you can see i waited till the minute. I've been fishing everyday, many 10 hour days 19 to be exact haha! , i need to find a better system for taking pics out of my yack.

So my 5 fish  goes like this my over all tally was 15.5 ,16, 16.5  17, 18= 83 inches

Didnt have as much chance to go recently but my last trip didnt yield any big fish and the quantity is dropping in the shallows.. from what I see, weeds are receding yet the fish are seemingly finally settling into a summer pattern.. the boat seemingly will be needed going into the tail end of summer.

Kinda strange this year.. but thats been the story this year so far..

Congrats to the winner of August.. it was a great month for SIZE
