RSM789 Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Five - California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas & Florida. The last 3 were all from shore on small lakes, yet produced fish over 4 lbs. Arizona was the real surprise because the lake was part of their urban fishing program, meaning I had to dodge a homeless guy sleeping & a cheating couple making out on the bench in order to reach the water. Caught some trout in Breckinridge Colorado, but was told there were no bass in those upper elevation ponds & streams. Almost made some trout aficionado choke when I recommended stocking some smallmouth in his private trout stream. I told him that won't eat too many of his 8" rainbows... Quote

SDbassin Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 For me, I've caught largemouth in Ca and AZ. Caught smallmouth in Washington state. And trout in Oregon and all the other states I've mentioned. I want to catch a bass in all 50 states, but that may take a while Quote
jessejames556 Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Just three: Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee. I flew out to California a few years back and hoofed it around Lake Isabella for 4 days each morning carrying all my gear and got completely skunked. I ended up heading up to the river that fed the lake and caught some trout on salmon eggs. Quote
