ABW Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Looking to buy one, because I don't like the sun being on my neck and face all the time. Quote
Super User Catch and Grease Posted August 6, 2014 Super User Posted August 6, 2014 Go try some and which ever one you think is most comfortable use lol... Its is pure preference Quote
slimshad Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Bass King is the flavor of the month for me. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted August 6, 2014 BassResource.com Administrator Posted August 6, 2014 I use the BassResource buff because it's contoured to cover your neck front and back. http://www.bassresource.com/fishing-apparel/ Quote
kikstand454 Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 I wear one religiously. I found a guy a few years ago who had them for $5 a piece. I got three. I rotate those. I also got a Walmart one recently which I really liked. ....but I lost it after maybe two trips. I liked it because it was a bit more loose than the other ones I have. Now of course I can't find them in any of the 5 frkn Walmart in my area! They're great for winter too! Quote
Super User tcbass Posted August 7, 2014 Super User Posted August 7, 2014 Love my Columbia Omnifreeze with SPF 30. Quote
michang5 Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 I have a standard Buff. But I was looking at the new ones made from tech fiber. Was curious if it was any better -- cooler, more wicking, etc. -- than the original. Quote
ABW Posted August 7, 2014 Author Posted August 7, 2014 I'm gonna get the Buff branded ones... lots of cool designs Quote
fishguy613 Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 I have a UV buff and an Original buff, both are super comfy. the UV buff would be best to protect against rays, the original does also but to a lesser extent. I use the original to keep warm on colder days 1 Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted August 7, 2014 Super User Posted August 7, 2014 Check out hoorag.com, good prices and cool designs. 1 Quote
tstone Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 I like the Breathe Like a Fish gear. I like the regular Buff brand when it's cooler out. 1 Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted August 7, 2014 Super User Posted August 7, 2014 I wear one in the cooler months around my neck, sometimes for no seeum protection. For the most part I don't care for them, too hot. Quote

For the most part I don't care for them, too hot. Columbia's Omnifreeze technology keeps you a few degrees cooler then the temp. It's like being in then shade. I never thought I'd like one, wear it all the time now. Quote
Super User gulfcaptain Posted August 7, 2014 Super User Posted August 7, 2014 I use Simm's Sun Armour. But am looking into the Omnifreeze and after reading some of the reviews here may go and get one to try Quote
Supermat Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 I've been wearing the Simms for several years. I like them because they're light but it never fails that the face begins to rip. I've probably gone through 6 or 7. I just picked up a few from Salt Armour, just trying something different. Quote
