friend of mine got me a nice discount through garmin.  I don't have the $$$$ to spend on their plotters or sonar or the combos.  Im looking at their basic fish finders.  Just want something that give me good images and depth.  Any suggestions?? This is my first venture into the electronics so any help/advice id appreciate it!  Thanks guys

I have a garmin echo 100 on my small jon boat and I really like it. It's nothing special, but it gets the job done. Out of all the cheap fishfinders out there, this one is by far the best and easiest to use.
